Most Ikarians follow the Greek Orthodox calendar, which sets aside plant-based fasting days for around half the year. On those days, meat, dairy and eggs are left out, and meals are built from legumes, vegetables, bread, olives and, on some days, seafood.
The plan marks each fasting day in your calendar and switches your recipes automatically. You can follow the full calendar or a lighter version with only Wednesday and Friday fasts.
